Established in 1942 with the mission of protecting the residents of Upper Milford’s western district, our department is comprised of 100% volunteer members of the community. As costs to equip our firefighters far exceed the revenue received from grants and taxes, our volunteers organize multiple community fundraising events to raise the funds to keep our community safe. We invite you to join us for the Upper Milford Western District Fire Company’s Chicken BBQ! A community favorite, this longstanding tradition features a half chicken, baked potato, and applesauce, all for just a $12 donation!
Beyond a great community experience, the Chicken BBQ holds a greater purpose. Each ticket purchased directly supports our fire company’s mission to protect and serve the community. We encourage you to join us for this monthly event that not only provides a great meal but also helps to support our first responders.
